THE ROLE

I am seeking a Chartered Quantity Surveyor at Senior level for a small successful firm of PQS who specialise in working on high end residential projects for new build and refurbishment.

Ideally you will also have some experience of doing some project management or employers agent duties too.

You will be responsible for the entire project from feasibility stage through to completion of project.

THE COMPANY

My client is a successful boutique firm of PQS / construction consultants working on high end residential projects for new build and refurbishment with projects currently valued from around £5m to £100m.

They provide both cost management and project management services.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be a Chartered Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager at senior level who is able to work mainly unsupervised.

Ideally you will have gained some experience of either the Employers Agent role or Project Management to do a dual role when required.

You will need to be working for another firm of construction consultants (PQS) or multi disciplinary consultants in the construction industry.

You must have worked as a QS on projects from feasibility through project delivery and handover.

You will be conversant with all pre and post contract duties.

You must have excellent client facing skills and be confident and articulate.

You must have excellent English to write formal reports and documents.

Salary is negotiable in the range of £75000 to £80000 per annum plus car allowance, pension, RICS fees, season ticket loan, cycle to work scheme plus profit share.
