THE ROLE
I am seeking either a Quantity Surveyor with from one years post graduate experience or someone already chartered with the RICS to join a dynamic firm of mult disciplinary consultants in their Surrey office.
You will work on a mix of luxury residential projects for private clients to small apartment blocks plus some elderly living homes and other projects for refurbishment, new build and extensions.
You will need to have experience of the PQS role doing both pre and post contract quantity surveying duties.
My client will also support you through the APC if you are not yet chartered.
Good prospects within the QS department which is growing.
THE COMPANY
My client is a small multi disciplinary firm with two offices, one in Surrey on the SW London borders and another further into London.
They offer quantity surveying, building surveying, structural engineering and project management services.
THE CANDIDATE
You will be a Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager in the building construction industry.
You will need to be working for another firm of construction consultants or multi disciplinary consultants in the construction industry.
You will need to have a Degree or MSc in Quantity Surveying and have at least one years QS experience ideally gained with a firm of PQS or multi disciplinary consultants.
You could also already be MRICS qualified.
You must have worked as a QS on projects from feasibility through project delivery and handover.
You will be conversant with all pre and post contract duties.
You must have excellent English to write formal reports and documents.
Salary is negotiable according to your level of experience but will be in the range of £35000 to £65000 per annum plus pension, RICS fees, discretionary bonus, APC support etc.
