THE ROLE

My client is seeking an OFFICE MANAGER with fluent German and English to join them in BERLIN, GERMANY.

You are likely to be a 2nd Jobber with excellent skills as my client seeks around two or three years relevant experience.

You will be a good organiser, able to book travel and accommodation, work closely with the HR and IT teams to overseas the onboarding process, conduct office tours, deal with office expenditure etc.

You will organise office socials and events. You will manage new joiners and deal with general Human Resources tasks.

You will create reports, presentations, printing and binding for bids.

You will need to have good IT competency and be able to use Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Word.

My client is an international firm of professional construction consultants with three German offices, plus offices in the UK and worldwide. They are always voted as one of the top employers.

THE CANDIDATE

You are likely to be seeking your second job.

You should have broad based secretarial and administrative skills.

You must have excellent IT skills in the use of the MS suite.

You will be a good organiser.

You must be willing to travel to other offices in Germany when required.

Fluent German and English – written and spoken, is essential.

You must have excellent communication skills to deal with professional people including clients, other firms of consultants and more.

Salary is in the region of Euro 40000 to 45000 per annum.
