Salary / Rate: £60000 to £62000 per annum + £7K car allowance, bonus, pension, professional fees etc.
THE ROLE
I am seeking a Chartered Quantity Surveyor to join my client, a progressive firm of PQS in Warwickshire.
You will have the opportunity to become a shareholder with this firm after a qualifying period.
You should be able to run your own projects from feasibility to handover and you will need to have gained good pre and post qualification experience with another firm of PQS or multi disciplinary consultants.
You will work closely with the project manager to represent the client.
THE COMPANY
My client is a successful firm of construction consultants providing Quantity Surveying / Cost Management and Project Management services mainly for projects which include manufacturing buildings and associated plant, distribution centres and logistics buildings.
They are growing and will shortly also be opening another office.
THE CANDIDATE
You will be an MRICS qualified Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager in the building construction industry.
You will need to be working for another UK firm of construction consultants (PQS) or multi disciplinary consultants in the construction industry.
You should be an ambitious QS with excellent client facing skills and be able to think like a developer or the client.
You must have worked as a QS on projects from feasibility through project delivery and handover.
You will be conversant with all pre and post contract duties.
You must have excellent English to write formal reports and documents.
You should be able to run your own projects with help if required on projects of higher value.
Salary is negotiable according to your level of experience but in the range of £60000 plus a car allowance of £7000 plus RICS fees, pension, private health insurance, discretionary bonus and the opportunity of owning shares therefore gaining in the profit share.
Also, some hybrid working will be allowed after the initial joining period.
