Salary / Rate: £60000 to £80000 per annum + pension, RICS fees, bonus etc.

THE ROLE

I am seeking a Quantity Surveyor at either Project Surveyor or Senior QS level to join a PQS in the City of London.

You will work on hotels, residential, mixed use, commercial and other projects for new build, fit out and refurbishment.

You should be able to run your own projects from feasibility to handover and you will need to have gained a couple of years or more post graduation qualification experience with a firm of PQS.

THE COMPANY

My client is a successful firm of construction consultants providing Quantity Surveying / Cost Management and Project Management services across a range of sectors with projects in the UK and occasionally in the EU.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be a Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager in the building construction industry who is MRICS qualified.

You will need to be working for another firm of construction consultants (PQS) or multi disciplinary consultants in the construction industry.

You need to be working as a Project Surveyor or Senior Surveyor and be able to run your own projects reporting to an Associate or Partner.

You will have a BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar subject and ideally be MRICS qualified from recently qualified level through to Senior level.

You must have worked as a QS on projects from feasibility through project delivery and handover.

You will be conversant with all pre and post contract duties.

You must have excellent English to write formal reports and documents.

Salary is negotiable according to your level of experience but in the range of £50000 to £80000 plus RICS fees, pension, discretionary bonus etc.
