THE ROLE
I am seeking an Associate Quantity Surveyor to join a PQS in the centre of London.
My client seeks someone who is MRICS qualified who can head up high value projects and lead a couple of Assistants or project surveyors.
You will work on a good range of projects mainly for residential projects including super prime, student accommodation, build to rent etc.
You should be able to run your own projects from feasibility to handover or work as part of a team on larger projects.
My client offers a clear path to moving up within the organisation for ambitious candidates as well as the opportunity to work on a good range of projects. They also offer excellent CPD and prospects to move up to Associate Director and beyond.
THE COMPANY
My client is a successful large firm of construction consultants providing Quantity Surveying / Cost Management and Project Management services across a range of sectors with projects in the UK and occasionally in the EU and further afield.
THE CANDIDATE
You will be an MRICS qualified Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager in the building construction industry at Associate or Senior QS level with experience of running high value residential projects.
You will need to be working for another firm of construction consultants (PQS) or multi disciplinary consultants in the construction industry.
You should have some experience of heading a small team of QSs.
You will have a BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar subject.
You must have worked as a QS on projects from feasibility through project delivery and handover.
You will be conversant with all pre and post contract duties.
You must have excellent English to write formal reports and documents.
You must have excellent client facing skills.
Salary is negotiable according to your level of experience but in the range of £70000 to £85000 plus RICS fees, pension, discretionary bonus etc.
