THE ROLE

I am seeking either a Chartered Quantity Surveyor or an experienced Quantity Surveyor who has been working for firms of PQS to join a small firm in London SE1.

You will work mainly on education and healthcare projects mainly for universities, colleges and hospitals.

You will be responsible for the entire project from feasibility stage through to completion of project.

THE COMPANY

My client is a successful boutique firm of PQS / construction consultants with good clients offering repeat business.

They provide both cost management and project management services.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be either a Chartered Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager or an experienced PQS with minimum five years experience of working for consultants.

You will need to be working for another firm of construction consultants (PQS) or multi disciplinary consultants in the construction industry.

You must have worked as a QS on projects from feasibility through project delivery and handover.

You will be conversant with all pre and post contract duties.

Ideally you may have gained some experience of either education and / or healthcare projects.

You must have excellent English to write formal reports and documents.

Salary is negotiable according to your level of experience but possibly be in the range of £60000 to £75000 per annum plus pension, private health insurance etc.
