THE ROLE
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join a small firm of consultants working closely with Blue Chip Investor clients.
Projects are mainly high end residential which is mostly survey work and also office schemes value from £500K to £20m plus out of town retail units. Clients are mainly private sector.
Duties will mainly be project work to include contract administration and project management and some surveying duties.
You will need to have good technical experience and a good understanding of construction and property generally.
You will be involved in working on projects from inception to completion.
You must be able to work without supervision and be able to do work within required timescales on a number of project concurrently.
THE COMPANY
Our client is a small successful firm of project management and building surveying consultants.
THE CANDIDATE
You will be a either a Chartered Building Surveyor or Chartered Quantity Surveyor by training with experience of the Project Management role.
You should have a Degree or Diploma or MSc in Building Surveying or Quantity Surveying plus you will need to be MRICS qualified.
Ideally you will have at least five years post qualification experience or more.
You should be working for another firm of consultants but be keen to join a firm who will pay you a bonus according to the amount of work you have completed.
Good experience of project work is essential e.g. contract administration, project management etc.
You should have experience of offices and residential schemes ideally including CAT A fit out.
You should have good client facing skills and be able to deal with people at all levels.
You must be able to deal with a number of projects concurrently.
A full UK driving licence and own transport is preferred as projects are both in London and some across the UK.
Salary is as follows will be c. £60000 to £65000 plus car allowance, pension, RICS fees, mileage plus a bonus of at least £20000 to £30000 per annum or more.
